Don’t you love it when scripture Speaks
John 12:25-26
Those who love their life lose it, and those who hate their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor.
It is very interesting to be preaching through John in Living Stones Rockford. We have been slow going but I sped up through some of the story and now I wish I had slowed back down. This is some of those verses that can take the heart by storm. In the overlying “The Gospel Demands Action” it makes sense that we would follow. Loving life is not something that I do so well … I need to hate sin more.
Give away our life, follow God.
