Trying to balance the difference of being ashamed of my sin but set free from my sin in Christ. Somehow I don’t think I am alone.
Jeremiah 6:15
Were they ashamed when they committed abomination?
No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
fat the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,”
says the Lord.
So I also realize that I am free from sin in Christ!
Romans 6:22
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
So now I find my sin offensive and full of shame and I need to confess it to my Lord, but I can leave it there … Christ paid the price.
I am free of it, but I must confess it to Him
