Gemstones from Jesus

Posted by in Obervations

I got in a conversation with a “christian” that was witness to a preaching phenomena where, as the pastor was speaking, gems fell to the ground! He used some obscure verses to show that it was a “real sign” of the presence of God. I was in shock, my skepticism was in high mode and my snarkiness must have been on my face. I tried to put that aside as I listened to him tell me the tale. As part of his offer of proof he stated that he had…read more

What a great week I will upload a ton of photos soon but for now… these will have to work 😉 I took a pie in the face one day — a water balloon the next. The kids had a great time and I think I did too!

This was it for me last night. Faith is a condition we find ourselves in. Faith is a channel caused by and for the Holy Ghost. I was reading in Romans 3:29-4:6 in preparation for a sermon and these verses just nailed what my brain knew…read more

Contemplation Psalm 36

Posted by in Obervations, Scripture

Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Psalm 36:5 When all truth on earth has faded and man has let you down. Where else can we look but to our Lord? How often we are left with no trust in ourselves and no trust in strength. That we may become keenly aware of the source of grace and mercy in our lives and the world around us and trust in the faithfulness of the Father.
