Rev. Stephen Bowie and Rev. Julane Nease were at City Hall today (Thursday) to present a check for $500 from Northwest Neighbors, Inc. to go toward the purchase of body-worn cameras for the police department. The Mayor and two Deputy Assistant Chiefs were present.

The goal of Northwest Neighbors, Inc. is to create a more abundant life for people living in the northwest quadrant of the city. We participate in conversations about health care, the availability of public (library) and private (grocery store) businesses, education (YMCA and Good Shepherd Lutheran) and recreation (summer softball).
The chair of the board is Rev. Eric Lemonholm, pastor of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on Rockton Avenue. Other members of the board include: Rev. Stephen Bowie (Treasurer), Kevin Rilott, Michael Gallagher, Rev. Jeremiah Griffin, Denver Bitner
Northwest Neighbors Inc. public community meetings are held monthly on the third Tuesday.  Locations vary, for more information contact Mike Gallagher on the NWCCDC website.
