Yeah it happened, I was driving the church van and had someone pull along side me just as I sneezed into my hand … I am sure I was red-faced and looking for a kleenex or something to … yeah gross.

I looked up and there was a young couple staring at me and laughing as I wiped my hands and then the steering wheel.  Embarrassing to say the least.

I have the church name all over my white van, it covers both sides and the entire back window.  Looks nice and from an advertising perspective it is a huge banner that says “Living Stones” is here.  I love it, but I was warned.

“It is like you are driving your Christian Testimony.” one brother said.  Another counseled me to take them off and get them smaller maybe magnets that I could remove when I am not attending a church function.

So sometimes it IS embarrassing to represent the Church but in reality it makes me much more aware of how much my heart is wicked and in need of the Gospel.  It also prompts me to change my behavior and to much faster confess my sin before my sovereign Lord.

My sin grieves me, the Gospel frees me, my Lord saves me, my Spirit leads me!

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes
