it is an easy thing to do, try and raise a bunch of mini-me followers in the Church. Paul fought this in Galatians, wanting the churches to reach out but also to want them to stay fast in the doctrine they were taught.
Teaching the Bible so that your congregation can stay focused on GOD will keep them Christ focused.
