Some days it is easy to get lost in contemplation than others. Today I was again trying to spend some time with out a phone or screen and just use my memory to focus on the things of the Lord. I had spent all morning working and was just to the point where I was ready for a break. I logged out of my computer, then realized I had not completed my task and as I logged back in this verse was on my screen.
The beauty and art of the image caught my attention, then the verse spoke right to my spirit. The surety of our Lord is refreshing.
Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD;
his going out is sure as the dawn;
he will come to us as the showers,
as the spring rains that water the earth.”
Hosea 6:3
When I fail, He is perfection.
When I stumble, He is my support.
When I lose my way, He is my Ranger.
I want to know God. In my successes and in my failures. No matter what happens to my day or in my life, God is the constant. That gives me a place of stability and strength like no other.
