I met a gifted lady this afternoon. I watched as she entered in and out of the ministry she has. I was amazed at her patience and love that was shown in every kind word and each tender touch. I saw her struggle to find her place and meet her own needs all the while she diligently worked to anticipate his needs. It was not disruptive or out of place, it seemed to be more than simple routine, this was love on display.
There is a season of life where the taking care of a spouse or another that we love seems to be all consuming. Today I observed as this kind lady took care of her husband even saving his cookie from the waiter’s hand as he cleared the table.
I was reminded that we have a short time here on this earth to love those that we have been given. Don’t waste the opportunity to share love and the Gospel with those you hold dear.
