2 Peter 1:4 – He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature.
The expense of the divine nature is paid for by Christ on the cross. It is truly something that we could not afford or even begin to pay for. Yet this has been promised to us. It is in the obedience that we find the power God has given to us to overcome.
Hold on to the promises God has given you. The world will do what it can by its nature to destroy your promise. God leads us along and draws us to him… We need to feed this desire to be near to God. We do that through scripture, prayer and fellowship but we see the results as the fruit of the Spirit are soon found in us. God has given us what we need to be successful.
